World hard game
Top of the second: Anthony Rizzo hit a comebacker off the bottom of Jack Flaherty’s right shoe for a lead-off single. Flaherty struck out Anthony Volpe. Austin Wells grounded out to second base and Alex Verdugo grounded out to short https://mobilezidea.info/aussieplay/.
In Game 3, Walker Buehler was the Walker Buehler we’ve come to expect in October. The man who had a 1.43 postseason ERA from 2019-20 held the Yankees to two hits and two walks in five shutout innings Monday night. He struck out five and was ahead in the count all night, throwing a first pitch strike to 12 of 18 batters. Buehler carved the Yankees up with cutters, curveballs, and even some straight gas four-seam fastballs, a pitch that gave him problems during the regular season.
After three consecutive Octobers filled with classic falls, the Dodgers have returned to the Fall Classic for the fourth time in eight seasons, the 13th time in Los Angeles history and 22nd time overall.
What is the best game in the world
A game about the power of games, Bioshock submerged players in Rapture: an art deco metropolis at the bottom of the sea. Mixing first-person shooting with choice-driven gameplay, the game delivered one of the medium’s most memorable villains, Andrew Ryan, and an all-time third wall-breaking twist.

The first in a high fantasy trifecta released between 2009 and 2015 – see also: Skyrim and The Witcher III – Origins cemented developer Bioware’s status as a near-unparalleled RPG storyteller while expanding its horizons with expansive character customisation and rich combat mechanics. All of which the developer will be sorely looking to recapture with the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
Catapulted into launch game status mid-development, Bungie’s first-person shooter would reframe how we saw single-player shooter campaigns and multiplayer arena modes. Despite its frenzied creation that saw multiple changes to its fundamental concept, Halo’s impact changed a genre forever.
The NBA 2K franchise’s popularity and ever-present cultural appeal belies its best-in-class sports gameplay. It’s a game that real NBA players like the 76ers’ Paul George pick up when they’re off the court, continually driving the competitive spirit, but remains accessible enough for everyone to enjoy, whether or not they’re good at basketball in real life.
The expansive open-world of Skyrim offered up a sprawling adventure with an impressive level of freedom to shape your journey as the Dragonborn. With rich main story quests and an abundance of side quests that have just as much depth and intrigue, the fifth instalment in the franchise draws you into its fantasy setting and refuses to let go. You’re really encouraged to play your way and decide how you want to spend your time, with a variety of different weapons, powers, and skills on offer. Building on the legacy of the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim’s vast sense of scale in every sense has continued to impact games in the RPG genre that followed. It’s no wonder players keep returning time again across several platform generations and re-releases.

I also have to note that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is the most prominent video game ever to be set in my hometown of Toronto, so it holds a special place personally. I can’t think of another game where you have to dodge TTC buses or collect toonies ($2 coins) to buy a poutine. My friends from New York, London, and Tokyo can play through huge, nearly photo-realistic versions of their homes, but I’m pretty happy to stick with what Scott Pilgrim has to offer. It’s certainly very Canadian.
Prior to release, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game received nominations for Best Downloadable Game of E3 2010 by both GameSpot. It was nominated for Best Downloadable Game and won Best Adapted Video Game at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards.
On May 20, 2020, during an academy-sponsored viewing of the Scott Pilgrim movie, O’Malley jokingly tweeted “bring back the Scott Pilgrim game”, which had Ubisoft reply with a thinking emoji, vaguely hinting at a potential re-release.
Game 2 world series
An efficient inning by Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Despite a walk to Anthony Rizzo, he got Jazz Chisholm, Austin Wells and Anthony Rizzo out on nine combined pitches to keep the game scoreless.
The injury came on a night that Yoshinobu Yamamoto — who hadn’t pitched in a seventh inning of a game since June 7 — needed only 86 pitches to blanket the Yankees over 6⅓ innings and it looked as if he could have kept going. He used a five-pitch mix to get it done, including striking out Aaron Judge twice — once on a slider and once on a split finger. He gave up only one hit, two walks and struck out four. His only blemish was a third-inning home run by Juan Soto.
Through two games, the World Series margins are razor thin. The Dodgers rallied in the tenth inning in Game 1 when Freeman hit a walk-off homer. The Yankees put ducks on the pond in the ninth inning of Game 2, but Trevino flew out, and the Yankees didn’t have a better pinch-hitter option. Two close games, but also a 2-0 series lead for the Dodgers.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts just took the ball from him in the top of the seventh inning after a masterful performance. The Japanese right-hander threw 6.1 innings, allowing just one hit, two walks and striking out four.
The Dodgers got on the board first in the second inning on Tommy Edman’s solo home run off Carlos Rodón. Soto evened the score in the top of the third but that’s where the offense stalled for New York. The Dodgers extended their lead later that inning on Teoscar Hernández’s two-run home run to the right field stands. Moments later Freddie Freeman — the hero of Game 1 — hit a solo shot to make it 4-1 Los Angeles.
